My daughter-in-law, Laurie Von Forell Anderson, has a great blog that really has all of the info on their family so half of my work is done. Now I just have to think of something interesting to say about the rest.

The Grandpa Joe in "Grandpa Joe" is Joseph Kevin O'Rourke, born in Warwick, Rhode Island on September 25, 1962 (Let me do the math for you: He is 8 years, 9 months younger than I am). He and a fellow named Dennis Taylor have a radio show that features boxing on Sundays at around 4:10 p.m. on KXRA540 AM. We have been happily married since March 18, 2006, but with a name like O'Rourke, we tend to celebrate it on March 17. Joe says I talk funny, too, like I'm from California.
